REFLUXUS PROJECT Ehab Halabi Abo Kher is an Israeli videomaker and vj who lives and works at Turin (Italy). He took part to several national and international video exhibitions and video contests, and his promotional trailer for “La Grande Musica per il Cinema” Festival, by Politeama Foundation of Catanzaro, has been projected in the 67th edition of Venice Film Festival. His production peculiarity is the re-use of filmic, video and tv material, of wich he enfatises the meta-linguistic dimension, in an investigation turned to explore the complex communication mechanisms. Yamila Marcela Campisano is an italian-argentinian performer, videomaker and sculptress who lives and works at Catanzaro (Italy). Ectlectical artist, she uses to test different media in relation of her expressive requirements. Fonded of theatre, she’s had several formative experiences in that field, and her video production is often influenced by theatrical literature. She’s also had some experiences in cinema as actress, scene photographer and secretary of ediction. Her latest video are rielaborations of some Flux films, over wich she works amplifing and distorting their dialectic. Their collaboration began in 2007 with Composizione ecologica #1 video, projected in several videoart exhibitions and contests (such as “Videoart Yearbook 2008” by Renato Barilli, and “Premio Celeste 2008”). In 2009 they collaborated for the audiovisual Ehab Halabi Abo Kher’s performance Kinoechoes, special event in “La Grande Musica per il Cinema” Festival by Politeama Foundation of Catanzaro, that took place at the Complesso Munumentale S. Giovanni in Catanzaro. From 2009, with the pseudonym of REFLUXUS PROJECT, both artists are focused on composition of electronical music for their audiovisual performances. In 2010 they took part to the 4th edition of International Videoart Festival “The Scientist” by Vitaliano Teti.
