Come artista avverto l’esigenza di rappresentare con il mio lavoro il tempo che stiamo vivendo e l’energia e lo spirito che lo alimenta, cercando d’interpretarne gli stati d’animo e i mutamenti, con le geometrie, l’intrigare dei segni, la vitalità che corre nelle tessiture e le trame fra immagine e colore. L’impronta al mio percorso artistico viene impresso dallo sgargiante sfavillare, dal frenetico sommarsi di colori, forme, segni, materia e impulsi vitali, e da questa serrata orditura composta dalle pennellate nasce e si delinea il tema del mio progetto che parte prima con riferimenti a metropoli e città organizzandosi come uno smisurato organismo biologico in continua crescita ed evoluzione, e poi assumendo nelle ultime realizzazioni pur mantenendo la stessa struttura, una dimensione decisamente più lirica. Parallelamente lo sguardo e il pensiero possono compiere un confronto con il numero di pixel che compongono le immagini nel monitor del computer e avvicinarsi alla trama dei segni nella tela che creano forme. Il movimento dei colori che palpita sui miei lavori e percorre tutta la sua superficie mette in relazione con ciò che appare nei video donando alle opere una contemporaneità vitale. ___________________________________________ My painting is immersed in the present and projected into the future. As an artist I feel the need to represent my work with the weather we are experiencing and the energy and spirit that fuels it, trying to interpret the moods and changes, with the geometry, the intrigue of the signs, vitality running through weaves and textures of image and color.
